17- Our House

While the older kids were at school, I spent all my time playing with little Eileen. I wanted to hold off on having the next kids until she was a little older, so I could spend more time with the kids I had, plus with my pay and a likely move in the near future, I didn't want to add anymore stress.
--------------------------------

Every morning after Eileen's birth, I eagerly check the mail in hopes of that nice sum of money to coming.

The morning I got the check in the mail, I was so excited about it, and I immediately called up City Hall for a request to move. They were a little surprised by my excited-ness, but said that I would be allowed to move tomorrow morning. [which gave the kids time to grab what they wanted, since I wasn't really packing anything.]

------------------------------------

The next morning, all six of us practically ran to the van to get to see the new house. If it weren't for traffic laws, I probably would have sped there without stopping. This was pretty big!

And of course, as soon as we got there, Alice had to grow up into an adult. :(

My baby was a grown up now! :'(

Sadly, she was ready to move out as soon as she grew up. I was able to convince her to stay the night, but why was she so eager to leave?

I had a quick talk with about the towns situation, and what she might find out there in town. But apparently she already knew a lot of what I had told her, and she understood completely what I was doing for the town. She was so ready to go out there and find the right man for her, but she didn't think she'd get very far living at home with me.
It was hard for me, but my baby girl was a grown woman now, free to do whatever she wanted.

Everyone else was pretty ecstatic about the new place.

Pepper approved as soon as he walked in the door.

Then went upstairs to play some video games in the play room.

Romeo seemed content just playing with Boinky in the living room.

Eileen also loved playing with her new doll Hesper.

While Marlon took to playing by himself in the sandbox.

--------------------------------------

And a great view of the house. It's pretty close the beach [yay!], and there's an amazing view from the back yard. No wonder this was the most sought after house!
