6- Sergeant Pepper

That night, I awoke to another wave of ickiness. [I don't know why, though. I didn't eat anything bad...]

Good thing I was already awake, though, because I got a call from the office [as I'll call it.], asking me to come in for a small chat. [in the middle of the night... they couldn't have waited until morning for that?]
Alice was still asleep, though, so I felt a bit safe with calling a baby sitter to watch her.

I got dressed and headed over to town hall for the "chat". Apparently, they had heard about my part-time job at the supermarket [that I've to actually show up for, since I'm on maternity leave], and they weren't very happy about it. I had to explain to them that I was lacking funds at the moment, and needed some source of income for the time being. They were somewhat understanding, so they agreed to give me a "job" at the office as a podium cleaner, so I can have some source of income. [it payed better than the market anyways.] They also bumped up my first payment to 5 kids, so I could have the money sooner. [but after that it'll be every ten] I left pretty happy with them, and it motivated me a little.

The next morning I had that feeling come over me again, where I just knew I was pregnant again. It was still pretty exciting.

So with that in mind, I decided I would spend as much time as I could with Alice before kid #2 arrived.

I am convinced that I have the absolute cutest kid on the planet! [I hope all my other children turn out as cute as her!]

She was a bit pouty at times though. But she was still my baby girl! :)

I made sure to teach her the basics of walking and talking, so she wouldn't be behind all the other kids. [did I say all? there aren't really many at all...]

One day, when recycling the yucky newspapers on my lawn, I went into labor.

I hurried up to my room, know I wouldn't be able to call anyone at the moment. I made sure not to go by Alice's room, not wanting to scare her.
